MULTIWIR packings can be rectangular or annular and are made by us from acid-resistant steel or polypropylene. Dust separating packings differ from the droplet separating packings in that they are sprayed to flush dust particles. The design of MULTIWIR packings is adapted to the gas flow and to the size and shape of the device. The gas flow through metal packings can be horizontal parallel or horizontal radial, depending on whether the packing is rectangular or annular. The gas flow through polypropylene packings is usually vertical, directed upwards (in the both cases: droplet and dust separation) or downwards (only in the case of dust separation).
